I write this article How to Fix Soft Brick to asnwer all the problems and all the miss understanding about what is hard brick and also soft brick on android smartphone. many of android users still do not know what is the definition about these two issues. Explanations written in this article is i get from some understanding of my study and reading at xda developers.

WHAT IS HARD BRICK

The term of hard brick is used in an android smartphone when you experienced a problems after doing the Unlocked Bootloader on xperia x8, galaxy ace, and also for another phone. It happened due to an error step when unlocked bootloader because the "production code" that allowed for unlocking is more / higher than it should be used in unlock bootloader process.
For example, the Xperia X8 hardbricked apply if production code is higher from the phone with 11w26 code. example 11w27 28 29 30 and higher.

HARDBRICKED CHARACTERISTICS

• Phone no signs that can turn on directly
• The Charge does not work.
• Phone not detected when connected to a computer
• The LED does not light up immediately
• No vibrate
• Your phone completely off

If hardbricked happen to your phone, it can not be repaired using SEUS, FLASHTOOL or even PC COMPANION. Why can not be fixed with software above?

As I already explained, the signs are hardbricked your phone can not detect by computer. Third software requires the phone to be in detect before the repair / upate to be done. So, if your phone were hardbricked and can not detect by software , how could it be done?

WHAT IS SOFT BRICK

Softbricked terms apply if your phone has certain problems. softbricked usually occurs after installing the custom rom or you are wrong in doing something that is not appropriate install [not compatible] with each phone.

SOFT BRICK CHARACTERISTICS

• Phone choked on vendor logo.
• Phone choked on a logo "bootanimation"
• and others.

SOFTBRICKED AFTER INSTALL CUSTOM ROM

1. Rom used does not match the type phone.contoh korang rom samsung go phone sony ericsson install close.
2. Google Apps is not installed after finish flash rom rom.Sesetengah korang need to flash / install google apps flash rom finished after a moment. Examples of such rom minicm7.
3. Rom does not match with the installed kernel that you use. Actually there are 2 types of rom stock  rom  kernel and custom kernel rom . Stock rom is for those who the bootloader still locked. Custom kernel rom for their that already have unlocked bootloader and flash the kernel.
4. Not do a full wipe / wipe data / factory reset and wipe cache after flash rom will also cause softbricked korang experience.
5. Do not follow the install directions carefully.

How to Fix Soft Brick On Android Smartphone

The principal things to repair soft crick on your phones are by flashing the stock rom to the softbricked phone. so your phone condition will similar like re install(like re install on computer). and there will be works properly again. for galaxy s3 you can see how to flash firmware on galaxy s3.

How To Setup And Configure Google Now

In a previous of couple weeks ago i have discuss in this blog about Android Jelly bean new features. and on that post i have mentioned if the new features that most wanted on jelly bean is google now. And today i will tell you How to setup Google Now which is one of the most highlighted features of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. So you must have a question on your mind, what is Google Now and how to setup or configure it? Check out my answer below.

What is Google Now

Google Now is an application that created to answer your questions and support them through search results. I can sat that Google Now is an application to automate your life and make it easier. Although it is just an application but it is very usefull

Google Now can tell you about the weather, so when one day you will come out google now can tell you the weather before you going outside. It can tells you how much traffic on the street. its very usefull to expect the jam on the traffic so you can choose the way if you want to go anywhere without trapped on traffic jam. this apps also can tell you when can you get next train or plane while you are on the platform or airport area. And Amazingly Google Now can tells all those things automatically on your smartphone which appear throughout the day whenever you need them.

How to Setup Google Now

How to setup Google Now is not a very complex question. so please read my insctruction to setup google now

To setup it, first launch the apps. Google Now can be launched by 2 methods, you can laundh from the lock screen by swiping towards the Google icon. or the 2nd methods is by swiping up from any of your soft keys.

If you were in the first time launchine google now. just tapping through the welcome screen set up.

Then Scroll down and then menu button its present in the bottom right corner. Once you tap the menu button it will launch Google Now/Voice Search Settings. then tap it customize your cards.

If you want, you also can view some sample cards and configure it from Google Now home screen. to do so, you just simply scroll down to the bottom and then tap on “Show sample cards”.

If you you want to customzie it later and just want to know the taste of Google Now then you just leave the settings to default. After you are finished setup the cards, you need to fill it with some data. to do so, you can use Voice Search and then search for your weather, favourite sports team, place for hangout or anything that related to the sample cards.

If you curious and want to get full benefitted then go back to Google Now settings and go to Privacy accounts. You can find that in default mode all of the settings are checked.

To manage your map setting Tap o Manage Location Settings. To get the best experience, check the option for “Enable Location History”.

To activate your Google Now apps in identifying your home and work address correctly, go to Location History in there you will get the option, it the option you must configure your home and work correctly.

OK, now your Google Now apps is fully enabled and ready to show you some cards. You will start getting cards for work/home distance, weather today, and other locations thfat you have set. If you still interested in any other cards, then you just use Voice Search that i have told previously. It will help Google Now to understand that you are interested in those cards also. And Google Now will keep on cellecting information as soon as you put new setting and information.

Google Now Tips and Tricks

• When once your Cards closed or swiped away from Google Now or notifications are not gone. dont't worry. They will reappear as soon as if there are a change on the data.
• But if You want to make the cards reappear without wait a change on the data, just simply tap the menu icon at Google Now and then tap on refresh button. But if you still face the problem, then turn Google Now switch off, reboot your phone and then re-enable it.
• If you want to configure Google Now to notify you when to leave so as to arrive on time. Just go to your calendar, then just add locations.
• To improves Google Now functionality. You can do it by enabling web history immensely, and you control its setting from – www.google.com/dashboard

Good evening everyone. Today in this post i want to share tutorial how to update your samsung galaxy SL i9003 to MIUI 2.3.23 custom rom firmware. The Samsung Galaxy SL i9003 device was released in February 2011. and maybe for this android phone user will disappointed because this phone doesn't get update official for android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich. but for you that read this article can be happy. BEcause in this article i will share tutorial to update your galaxy SL i9003 so that you can taste the ICS android on your phone. we use custom rom from MIUI 2.3.23 this is unofficial update ICS. so you must be aware and carefully of the potential risk. We are not responsible if you get your phone damaged or bricked.

Pre-Requisites:

• Create a backup of your important phone data such as SMS Messages, Call Logs, Contacts, Photos, Music, Documents and Videos. Use an app that is not KIES as that will make your data unavailable and you access to it will be blocked.
• Make sure that your phone’s battery won’t go any lower than 80 percent. This is to avoid any power interruptions during the installation process.
• Enable your phone’s USB Debugging mode by going to Settings > Applications > Development. Check the box next to the USB Debugging option.
• charge the smartphone’s battery until it reaches over 75% so that it won’t switch off the device while you’re applying all changes.

Tutorial Update Galaxy SL I9003 with MIUI v10 2.3.16 Custom Firmware:

1. First Download the MIUI v10 2.3.16 Zip package, Bravia Engine, SONY XCloud, Beats Audio & Swap to SD to your computer and then connect your android phone with computer using the Official USB cable.
2. Copy all the the zip files downloaded in your phone’s SD Card. please Ensure that you are not placing the file deep into the sub folder.
3. Now, remove your connected phone then turn Off. then enterto the recovery mode.
4. The recovery mode can be entered by pressing the Volume Down Key + OK button, and holding both simultaneously press the Power Button. If the phone boots in the normal mode then you need to try entering again into the recovery mode.
5. Then In the recovery mode, select “install zip from sd card” > “choose zip from sd card” and then choose the MIUI v10 2.3.16 Firmware Zip package, Bravia Engine, SONY XCloud, Beats Audio & Swap to SD which is placed in the phone in the chronological order.
6. After the update process is completed, your android phone will again back to the recovery mode. In the recovery mode, please select “++++ Go Back ++++” and then choose the option of “reboot system now” to reboot your system. If the phone refuses to show the home screen even after 5 minutes of restart, you need to then reinsert the battery.
